\nA yawning gulf between
\nMy vision-tree and my reality-plant. <\/p>\n
A yawning gulf between
\nThe place I love to live and the place I live.
\nI love to live under the vault of heaven.
\nAlas, my existence lives
\nIn the valley of the shadow of death.
\nPeace has escaped my remembrance;
\nDelight, too.<\/p>\n
But I know a swing of the pendulum
\nWill change my face and fate.
\nMy surrender supreme
\nShall marry my dream-boat
\nWith my reality-shore.<\/p>\n
