Poems on Destiny

The Master Of Your Destiny

You can be
The master of your destiny
If you can only have
A peaceful mind
And
A soulful heart.

Excerpt from Ten Thousand Flower-Flames, Part 47 by Sri Chinmoy.

We can fulfil our destiny
Only by serving
And loving humanity.

Excerpt from Seventy-Seven Thousand Service-Trees, Part 12 by Sri Chinmoy.

Be brave
Day in and day out
To meet with your destiny.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 268 by Sri Chinmoy.

O my heart, be brave!
Face your destiny
With silence-fortitude.
Your victory-day
Will fast approach you.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 197 by Sri Chinmoy.

Your heart's aspiration
Does not have to follow
Your destiny.
It is your destiny
That has to follow
Your heart's aspiration.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 84 by Sri Chinmoy.

EXCEPT ONE THING

Everything is in the hands of destiny
Except one thing:
My bosom's will.
Everything is in the hands of destiny
Except one thing:
My hour of God.
Everything is in the hands of destiny
Except one thing:
My imminent Perfection-dawn.

Excerpt from The Wings Of Light, Part 6 by Sri Chinmoy.

DESTINY-SOUNDS

O God-seeker-heart,
Aspire, enjoy your inner epiphany.
Permit not your life
To be eclipsed by the sounds of destiny.

Excerpt from Sail My Heartbeat Sail, Part 2 by Sri Chinmoy.

9939 My Destiny

My destiny laughs at me
When I tell the world
That I can become.
My destiny touches my feet
When I tell my Lord Supreme
That I am.

Excerpt from Ten Thousand Flower-Flames, Part 100 by Sri Chinmoy.

Our frightening and threatening destiny
We must challenge and transform
Into an enlightening destiny.

Excerpt from Seventy-Seven Thousand Service-Trees, Part 3 by Sri Chinmoy.

Destiny's Cancelled Injunctions

His ceaselessly and unfathomably
Happy heart
Has cancelled all the injunctions
Of his fateful destiny.

Excerpt from Ten Thousand Flower-Flames, Part 78 by Sri Chinmoy.

"The power that fore-ordains man's ultimate End or Destination is called Destiny. God uses this power in and through the Master. A real disciple's Destiny is undoubtedly the Destiny of his beloved Master."

Excerpt from Rainbow-Flowers, Part 1 by Sri Chinmoy.
